Year End Reflection
The year is coming to an end.. and thank God, this year has been a pretty good year for me..

Work

• Been back in time to attend NJOC. This means that i wasted no time in my career. In additional, being the pioneer of this new course.. lots of attention was given to us.. I graduated with an A grade and with my Nav C.

• My BWC was on time in Nov. I am closing up as a Navigator.

Fitness
Been working hard and the following are the races that i took part and completed:

• Tribob Aquathlon - swim 750m run 5 km
  
• Passion Run - 16 Km
  
• Navy Sprint - swim 750m run 5 km
  
• Tracom Sprint - swim 500m run 3 km
  
• Trifactor - swim 750m cycle 30km run 5km
  
• Army Half Marathon - 21Km
  
• Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore - 42.195Km

Outstanding matters
There are still 2 things that is lingering in my heart.. 1 is career, the other is love.

The Way Forward
Ytd was my assessment and i passed it.. so officially, i am a BWC holder le! In other words, navy cannot sack me liao.. whahha.. unless i make some super duper big mistake.. hmm.. i think this is the start of the real Navy career. Finally not an AO anymore.. but still dun know what appointment i will take up. ANO? Dy NO? haha.. whatever.. as long as i am not AO anymore.. Happy! =)

However.. having said that, i am still the smallest onboard... Argh!!

My Aveo's Pick up beats Tuscani (Unknowingly)

I was travelling along Clementi Road.. then red light.. so i stopped at lane 2 as i am going straight. From my rear view mirror.. i saw a Tuscani coming super fast.. and stop on my right (lane 1) which is a Right turn only lane. So now.. both me and the Tuscani is the first car in line.. When the light turns Green.. i just did what i was supposed to do.. and move on ahead.. but this Tuscani did not turn right! Instead.. he move ahead too and trying to cut into my lane! Then i suddenly realised what he was trying to do! He tot that his pick up is fast enough to cut ahead of me and be in my lane! Wah! Heng my pick up is faster than him!! Then at the next junction.. he was next to me again.. and he was staring at me.. but again at that junction.. my pick up was faster than his! And i really wasn't competing! but i tot the Tuscani is such a loser.. fancy staring at me when he is in the wrong!!

On a side note: Well done my little aveo! Done me proud! =)

Movie: Sister's Keeper



Caught this show with my TKD friends.. hmm.. the story is saddening.. but not particularly touching.. I only felt touched at the turning point.. shall not disclose it here as it might spoil the movie for those who had not watched it... I still believe that the book will be better... but that is only my personal view... alot of sobbing was heard thou..

Oh.. on a side note.. saw some little beng in the cinema... super noisy la!! As usual.. they are cowards.. saw them in the toilet.. gave a hard look into their eyes.. and they turned away... cowards...

Another thing is... the cleaner came into the cinema.. and said loudly to his friend outside.. "my show is ending".. walao! Thanks lo! Everyone will NOW know that the show is coming to an end.. what's wrong with him?!

It's Really Not Worth It...

Was driving back from Town today.. saw on the electronic sign board - Accident after Norman Rd Lane 3 and 4 Closed. In my mind, I thought its just 2 cars hitting each other.. shouldn't be too big a thing.. as i was closer to the scene... the jam started... Hmm.. was slowly creeping to the scene.. and finally saw the accident - Truck+Motorbike+TAXI.. hmmm... shall not speculate who's fault was it (Taxi?) ... haha.. but seriously.. the bike was under the truck.. God knows what happens to the biker.. sighz..

It is really not worth being slightly faster.. especially in the rain.. when u meet an accident.. you will waste more time.. much more time... and you do not only waste your own time.. you waste other ppl's time because it causes jam.. I was thinking.. What if I was rushing to the hospital to see a dying loved one?? I am stucked! So drivers/riders.. please be more responsible.. drive safely.. keep a safe distance.. and remember your checks!!

Slow speed doesn't mean safe speed.. i agree..but also remember that high speed doesn't mean you can reach earlier too!!

Movie: Jennifer's Body



I was so cheated!! I was misled by radio DJ saying,"This show is about Megan Fox in Jennifer Lopez Body" They meant it as a joke!! This move is utterly lousy.. with no storyline at all.. Not worth the money.. the time.. Aiks!! Lesson learnt: read about the movie before watching it.. Else u will be in for a surprise - most time unpleasant.
